Practice Grace Today!

Brothers and Sisters, how good it was to be together yesterday in the presence of the Lord! I sensed a moving of the Holy Spirit upon our church concerning the application of grace on a daily basis. The Lord is pushing us to renounce the "game of grace" and embrace the "living of grace."

Let's all meditate this week upon Romans 5:20-21 "Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Is grace abounding and reigning in your heart today? If so, then that grace is overcoming the temptations of sin in your heart and is spilling out to those who are trapped in their own sin!

The grace of God is something that is experiential and visibly manifested in the life of every believer. This amazing grace will never let go of you!

If the Lord is convicting you of suppressing that grace, thank Him for that conviction! It means that His grace is alive and working in you! Don't ignore that revelation He has brought to your attention. He wants to kill that sin and unleash the power of His grace in you and through you!

God deeply desires to empower Fluvanna Community Church to make Him famous in our community and around the world. But first, we must renounce our pride and confess our need for His grace! As we embrace this "living of grace" I expect the Lord to bless us in unity and love!
